CHAMOMILE OAT NIGHTCAP

Whenever there are times of sleeping troubles I am trusting ancient herbal teas for remedy.
A regular little tea ritual before bed can relax your nervous system and helps you get ready for drifting off smoothly. I love the addition of oat milk in this tranquilizing nightcap. It serves as a little treat and at the same time you get the benefits of oats which put you in a much calmer state of mind. Warm liquids provide a soothing effect.

CHAMOMILE OAT NIGHTCAP
makes 1
1 tbsp loose organic chamomile tea
1/2 cup oat milk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp raw honey
1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Boil water and pour over the tea . Let it steep for a few minutes, while heating up the oat milk. Blend the milk in a high speed blender for 30 sec to get it nice and frothy. Add the warm milk to the tea and let it steep for another 2 minutes. Remove the tea strainer, add honey and turmeric. Enjoy warm, double dosage recommended.
