Pumpkins are the kings and queens of autumn and the following weeks I want to celebrate my orange friends. Starting with a wonderful granola which reminds me of last years indian summer in new york. I fell in love with all things pumpkin and have a few cherished memories about granola bowl mornings with my sister and nights of seeking the citys best pumpkin beer.
I have blessed my new apartement with pumpkin spiced air and stocked up my pantry with granola and pumpkin puree.
Take this relaxed sunday, the hokkaido you have lying around because I bet you could not go past it at the store, some oats & spices and you will get a chunky sweet indulgent-tasting granola.
Enjoy with fresh homemade milk ( my favourite is hemp) or use it on top of chia pudding / yogurt or even savoury soup.
